NO PETS!                         
Sorry, but PETS are not allowed at Kihei Shores,
(BYLAWS Section 5(j) )

No Pets means & includes no cats, dogs, FISH, pigs, ferrets, birds or similar creatures.

A violation will result in Penalty Fines.

The 2nd Notice to you will carry a $50.00 penalty.  The 3rd Notice and all subsequent Notices will carry a $100 penalty.

SERVICE ANIMALS:  Service animals are the only other non-human animals allowed.
However, there is a very stringent protocol required to allow a service animal in the complex.
Before you bring in a service animal, you MUST provide MANAGEMENT with the following:

(1) a letter from an independent Physician, which contains the following:
     a. Confirmation that the Person is a patient of the physician;
     b. Information describing the physician’s practice and medical licensing;
     c. An explanation of the nature of the Person’s disability and “why that disability
         requires the assistance of a Service Animal”;
     d. A statement that the Person’s disability falls with the Fair Housing Act/Americans
         With Disabilities Act’s definitions of a “disability”;
     e. a statement by the physician of the specified use, training or peculiar disposition
         that the Service Animal should have in order to provide the Person reasonable
         accommodation for his or her disability

(2) a letter from a Veterinarian, stating that he or she has has examined the proposed Service Animal and certifies it to be fit for the specified use outlined by the Person’s physician; and

(3) a letter of signed Contract from a Pest Control Company that it will regularly and periodicially perform such pest abatement procedures within the Person’s Unit to mitigate any pest infestation that might otherwise arise as a result of the Service Animal’s presence in the Unit  

Failure to provide such Application will require the Occupant to remove his or her animal from the premises, with resulting Violation Notices and FINES ($50.00, $100.00, EVICTION, Legal Action).
